Strictly Dancing

A Humanities project based on dances from all over the world

Brazil: Samba drumming, Samba dancing, carnival mask making with a fashion show!

New Zealand: Moana themed activities, learn the Haka, Tattoo making.

U.S.A: Charlston, Cheerleading, American football and American themed activities.

Wales: Folk dancing, Welsh lessons/games and Welshness!

A Midsummer`s Night Dream

A Shakespearean project for younger pupils that looks at power, arguments and friendship qualities.

Drama, dancing and art is heavily involved in this project to make pupils understand the damaging effects of being stubborn and how important forgivness is.

Macbeth

A KS2 project that dives into the themes of the play……. greed, power and loyalty.

A mix of design and technology, drama, literacy and art allows pupils to develop a better understanding of ambition, greed and loyalty. Pupils who love drama and literacy will enjoy this performing arts project.

This is a project all about how to work well with others

Soft Play Yoga

A new project for younger pupils. Developmental Movement Play is the main focus of this project. This allows younger children to explore unusual shapes with their bodies and develop a sense of secure sense of self in their body.

Super Hero

A project suited for younger pupils. In this project pupils will dress up as their favourite superhero, take part in physical activities such as boxing, super hero themed circuits and design their own superhero!

Try out Super Hero physical challenges, immerse in play with amazing Super Hero toys and discuss what makes us amazing as well!

Paralympics

This cross curricular project covers topics related to the Ethical, Informed Citizens core purpose

Pupils will try out different paralympic sports such as sit down volleyball, goalball, boccia and cricket. They will participate in activities/games that will help pupils understand what it is like having a disability.

This project is an opportunity for pupils to reflect on themselves in a positive manner whilst having lots of fun!

A KS2 project to help pupils understand the damaging effects of social media/gaming/streaming

Children will learn all about self control, participate in fitness activities, fitness testing, how gaming can be healthy and understand how the how the brain works: why we love gaming and our phones so much.

A great project to encourage pupils to be more aware of their game time/ lack of time exercising.

Express Yourself

A project created for pupils to express their thoughts and feelings through a range of different media.

A performing arts project that inspires and motivates pupils to be themselves

KS2

A showstopping project that builds pupils confidence, looks at acceptance, explores individuality, looks ahead through our inspirations and aspirations all through the medium of dance and drama.

A very fun project full of circuis props and activities that uses the soundtrack of the film to look into the future and what kind of person we we would like to be.

Anti-bullying - Film

A KS2 project created from the film Zootropolis that looks at bullying through the use of film

An IntoFilm project that looks at bullying and the damaging effects it has. An opportunity for pupils to reflect on themselves and realise how easy it is to be peerpressured.

Lion King - Friendship

An early years project that explores the attributes of a good friend

We take a good look at friendship groups from the film, discuss what makes a good friend, participate in African drumming/dancing and explore African art whilst talking about our different friendship groups.
